We sometimes think about how we make a difference and does it really help. IT-Dept’s corporate business model enforces policies which benefit the environment in several ways. We are not inventing new solutions however using our logic to apply simple ideas to day to day work. All IT-Dept customers benefit by receiving a Certification of Environmental Consciousness.

Being aware of technical and business solutions which minimize the usage of gasoline, electricity or disposal of used electronics. All of these together do not cause any additional time loss to a person, business or customer. They only enhance our feeling of what it means to be apart of IT-Dept.

HIPAA
Compliance is important to continuing to serve medical related businesses across the United States. Any product or service which we offer specific industry customers is reviewed for compliance regulations and allowed apart of the IT-Dept purchasing catalog. Systems, Software, and Networking Appliances are all scrutinized to affirm there status with HIPAA Compliance so to not void your current status. Many great resources are available on the Internet to help you reach your compliance levels. Even though IT-Dept does not work with creating or certification, we can easily point you in the right direction.



IT Outreach
IT-Outreach is our companies way of supporting the smallest businesses. Once per month we open up our lines of communication and openly offer free IT Business advice to customers, and NON-customers alike. Why we do this is simple. If we can help you establish a strong startup someday you will grow and consider using your friend as your IT-Dept;

Improving on a great idea taken directly from US policy makers. IT-Dept strongly believes in a continued education for its staff members. With partnerships to national educators and elite educational institutions we can continue to become the best we can be.
